Scope

This standard specifies the dimensions and tolerances of the positioning grooves used for the outer rings of single-row angular contact ball bearings, four-point contact ball bearings, and cylindrical roller bearings. The positioning grooves are not suitable for use on the outer rings of sealed and dust-proof centric ball bearings, nor on the outer rings of non-flanged cylindrical roller bearings.
