Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for a quality management system for organizations with the following needs:
a) Need to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products that meet customer requirements and applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
b) Aim to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including the effective application of the system's continuous improvement process, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Note 1: In this standard, the term "product" only applies to:
a) Products intended for delivery to customers or required by customers;
b) Any intended output generated during the product realization process.
Note 2: Legal and regulatory requirements can be referred to as statutory requirements.
