Scope

This procedure is applicable to the initial inspection, follow-up inspection, and in-use inspection of pointer-type portable three-cup wind direction and wind speed meters (hereinafter referred to as pointer-type wind speed meters) and digital portable three-cup wind direction and wind speed meters (hereinafter referred to as digital wind speed meters) with a measurement upper limit not exceeding 30 m/s. This procedure is not applicable to mining-use three-cup wind direction and wind speed meters.
