Scope

This standard sets forth restrictions on mine hoists and mining hoists from the perspectives of physical performance and intended use. The specified safety requirements apply to the hazards arising at all stages during the machine's service life as stipulated in GB/T 15706.1—1995 section 3.11. This standard applies to non-explosion-proof and explosion-proof friction-type mine hoists, winding-type mine hoists, disc brake mining hoists, and block brake mining hoists (hereinafter referred to as hoists and mining hoists) driven by electric or hydraulic power. This standard does not apply to belt-type brake mining hoists.
