Scope

This standard specifies the terms, general requirements, special provisions, and inspection methods for external protrusions on the body of commercial vehicle cabins before the rear wall panels. This standard applies to Class N vehicles. However, it does not apply to automotive exterior mirrors and their connecting parts, antennas, and luggage racks.
