Scope

This document specifies the test method for the high-temperature compression performance of continuous fiber-reinforced ceramic matrix composites. This document is applicable to the determination of the high-temperature compression performance of unidirectional, bidirectional, and multidirectional continuous fiber-reinforced ceramic matrix composites along a main reinforcement axis. This document is also applicable to the determination of the high-temperature compression performance of bidirectional and multidirectional continuous fiber-reinforced ceramic matrix composites in an off-axis direction.
