Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, operating procedures, cleaning quality, waste liquid treatment, and safety requirements for the cleaning of organic heat carrier boilers and systems. This standard applies to the cleaning of organic heat carrier boilers and systems with an outlet pressure greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure) and a rated power greater than or equal to 0.1 MW, but does not apply to the cleaning of boilers with acid wash. This standard involves certain hazardous substances, operations, and equipment, and does not intend to provide recommendations on all safety issues related to them. Therefore, users should establish appropriate safety and protection measures and determine applicable management systems before using this standard.
