Scope

This standard specifies the basic characteristics and calibration principles of compression testers for paper, cardboard, and corrugated board (hereinafter referred to as compression testers).
This standard applies to fixed compression testers used in ring compression tests (RCT), corrugated core paper flat compression tests (CCT), edge compression tests (ECT), flat compression tests (FCT), and adhesion tests (PAT) for corrugated board.
