Scope

This standard specifies the quality grading principles for jade jewelry (including mounted and unmounted jade jewelry). This standard is applicable to quality inspection, value assessment, commercial trade, capital pledge, pawn, auction, etc. of jade jewelry within the administrative divisions of Yunnan Province. This standard is not applicable to the grading of jade jewelry that has been artificially "processed", nor to jade raw materials and unpolished jade jewelry.
