GB/Z 20177.1-2006 Control network LONWORKS technology specification—Part 1:Protocol specification

Scope

This part of GB/Z 20177 specifies the communication protocol for control networks. The protocol provides peer-to-peer communication for networked control systems, enabling both peer-to-peer and master-slave control strategies.
This part describes services at layers 2 to 7. In the layer 2 (data link layer) specification, the interface from the MAC sublayer to the physical layer is described. The physical layer provides a choice of transmission media. The interface described in this part supports a variety of transmission media at the physical layer. In the layer 7 specification, a description of the message types used by applications is included, including those used for exchanging application data and network management data.
This part is applicable to the design, manufacture, integration, installation, and maintenance of automation control systems and products, etc.
