Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, statistical scope, and calculation methods for the energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption") limits of carbon products and their main production processes. This standard applies to the calculation and assessment of unit product energy consumption for graphite electrodes (ordinary power graphite electrodes, high-power graphite electrodes, and ultra-high-power graphite electrodes), carbon electrodes, and carbon blocks (graphite-based carbon blocks, semi-graphite-based carbon blocks, and microporous carbon blocks), as well as the energy consumption control of newly built equipment in the main production processes of carbon products (roasting and graphitization processes).
