Scope

This standard specifies the grade levels of casting surface roughness parameters, the comparison method of casting surface roughness comparison samples, the evaluation of casting surface roughness parameter values, the recording of inspection results, and examples of casting surface roughness evaluation, etc. This standard is applicable to the inspection of casting surface roughness using the casting surface roughness comparison samples specified in GB/T 6060.1. This standard is not applicable to the evaluation of areas such as gate, spout, and residual surfaces of add-on parts.
