Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MSD) method for determining the content of o-phenylphenol (OPP) in textiles. Method 1 of this standard is applicable to the determination and verification of the content of o-phenylphenol in various textile materials and products; Method 2 of this standard is applicable to the determination and verification of the content of o-phenylphenol and its salts and esters in various textile materials and products.
