Scope

This document describes the analysis method for iron-59 (59Fe) and iron-55 (55Fe) in water, including the principle, reagents or materials, instrumentation and equipment, samples, experimental steps, data processing, quality assurance, and control, etc.
This document is applicable to the determination of 59Fe and 55Fe in surface water, groundwater, drinking water, and liquid effluents from nuclear and radiation facilities.
