Scope

This part of GB/T 20840 specifies the digital communication requirements for transformer measurement. This part is based on the IEC 61850 series standards, the UCA International User Group document "Implementation Guide for Digital Interfaces of Transformers Using IEC 61850-92", and the relevant content of GB/T 20840.8, including the supplementary improvements to GB/T 25931 based on network time synchronization. This part is applicable to transformers with digital output.
