Scope

This document describes a method for the determination of 21 beta-adrenergic agonists in feed by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.
This document is applicable to the determination of clenbuterol, phenoxymethylamine, cabergoline, clenbuterol hydrochloride, clenbuterol tartrate, clenbuterol acetate, clenbuterol propionate, clenbuterol maleate, ractopamine, litium chloride, marbofloxacin, moxifloxacin, hydroxymethyl clenbuterol, zilpaterol, salbutamol, terbutaline, tobramycin, sibutramine, and bromhexine in compound feed, concentrated feed, supplementary feed, and premixed feed additives.
In this document, the detection limit for salbutamol, ractopamine, and clenbuterol is 5 μg/kg, and the quantification limit is 10 μg/kg; the detection limit for the remaining compounds is 10 μg/kg, and the quantification limit is 50 μg/kg.
