GB/T 4556-2025 Reciprocating internal combustion engines—Fire protection
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the requirements necessary to minimize the fire hazards caused by reciprocating internal combustion engines and their installed components and auxiliary equipment. Where necessary, special requirements may also be imposed on reciprocating internal combustion engines for special purposes.
This document applies to reciprocating internal combustion engines for land and marine use (hereinafter referred to as "internal combustion engines"), but does not include internal combustion engines used in explosive environments, road vehicles, and aviation.
This document also applies to internal combustion engines used to drive small boats, as well as internal combustion engines for other purposes that do not yet have fire safety standards.
Except for the internal combustion engines used for the above-mentioned purposes, this document can also be used as the basis for internal combustion engine application standards.
