本标准规定了汽车进行热平衡能力道路试验的试验条件、试验准备、试验方法、数据处理及试验报告。
本标准适用于装用强制循环液冷式发动机的M、N类汽车在道路上进行的热平衡能力试验，在室内进行试验时可参照执行；其他的M、N类汽车也可参照执行。
