Scope

This standard specifies two test methods for determining the atomization performance of textile materials used in automotive interiors, namely the reflection method and the weight method.
This standard is applicable to all types of textile materials used in automotive interiors, including woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, non-woven fabrics, coated fabrics, and composite fabrics. The test results obtained by the two test methods are not comparable.
