Scope
This standard specifies the dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations of cold-drawn round steel wires, square steel wires, and hexagonal steel wires. This standard applies to cold-drawn round steel wires with a diameter of 0.05 mm to 20 mm, cold-drawn square steel wires with an edge length of 0.50 mm to 10 mm, and cold-drawn hexagonal steel wires with a distance between opposite edges of 1.60 mm to 10 mm.
