Scope

This standard specifies the responsibilities of personnel, safety rules for operations, preparation for maintenance operations, isolation and approach during maintenance, testing requirements, fire safety, and warning notice requirements for underwater high-voltage equipment operations.
This standard applies to the operations of surface personnel during the operation and maintenance of underwater high-voltage equipment with an AC or DC voltage of 380 V to 11 kV (inclusive).
