Scope

This part of GB/T 19216 specifies the test procedures and performance requirements for cables with a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV or lower that need to maintain the integrity of the line under specific conditions of combustion and mechanical impact, and also stipulates the duration of the fire supply. This part is intended for test cables with an outer diameter greater than 20 mm.
This part specifies the sample preparation method, the continuity inspection device, the electrical test procedures, the method of combusting the cable, and the method of generating mechanical impact, and also stipulates the evaluation requirements for the test results.
This part is applicable to low-voltage power cables and control cables with a rated voltage.
