GB/T 10104-2011 Marine magnetic compass of class B

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for Class B marine magnetic compasses, compass cabinets, and azimuth readers (referred to as magnetic compasses and accessories).
This standard applies to liquid magnetic compasses with or without a horizontal rest.
This standard does not apply to:
a) magnetic compasses with dry dials;
b) compasses designed according to principles different from those described above or compasses that do not comply with the specified specifications.
Note: For magnetic compasses used on vessels with a length of less than 24 m, this standard no longer makes any provisions.
