Scope
This document specifies the structure, models, and markings, cross-sectional dimensions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, labels, packaging, storage, and transportation of automotive multi-v belts (hereinafter referred to as "multi-v belts").
This document is applicable to multi-v belts used for driving fans, motors, water pumps, compressors, power steering pumps, superchargers, and other components in automotive internal combustion engines.
This document is not applicable to elastic multi-v belts.
