Scope
This document specifies the requirements, inspection rules, and markings for laminated paper and cardboard used in food packaging, as well as their packaging, transportation, and storage. It also describes the corresponding test methods and provides information on abbreviations and classifications.
This document applies to the production, inspection, and sale of laminated paper and cardboard used in food packaging, which are made from paper substrates and laminated with PE, PP, PET, PBS, PLA, PHA, or PBAT films on one or both sides. Other laminated paper and cardboard used in food packaging, as well as coated paper and cardboard, should refer to and implement this document accordingly.
