Scope

This document specifies the interface requirements between the controller layers of the software-defined optical transport network (SDOTN) based on traffic engineering network abstraction and control (ACTN), including an overview of the MMI interface, functional requirements of the MMI interface, a description of the MMI interface format, the MMI interface data model, and functional interfaces. This document is applicable to the cascading scenarios of the MDSC controller of the ACTN-based SDOTN, enabling resource acquisition, service deployment, and maintenance functions.
