Basic Information
Scope
This standard defines the terms and definitions used in lightning strike risk assessment technology, and stipulates the risk factors, risk assessment processes and methods, as well as the determination of risk levels.
This standard is applicable to the regional lightning strike risk assessment of major public service facilities such as highways, rail transit, large bridges, port docks, transportation hubs, oil and gas pipelines, etc., as well as planning functional areas with a floor area of more than 1 km2 or elongated areas with a length of more than 2 km (such as large amusement parks, tourist attractions, industrial parks, large residential communities, and other special areas that relevant competent departments consider needing to conduct regional lightning strike risk assessments).
