Scope
This standard specifies the types, dimensional parameters, tolerances, markings, technical requirements, inspection rules, and packaging of cylindrical straight-toothed involute spline gauges (hereinafter referred to as "gauges"). This standard applies to spline gauges with a pitch circle diameter of ≤180 mm. Gauges for splines with a pitch circle diameter of >180 mm may be used as a reference.
