Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the content of copper, iron, manganese, zinc, boron, and molybdenum in fertilizers using inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry (ICP). This standard is applicable to fertilizers with a copper, iron, manganese, zinc, boron, or molybdenum content of ≤1%. The detection limits of this standard method are as follows: copper, 0.003 μg/mL; iron, 0.03 μg/mL; manganese, 0.004 μg/mL; zinc, 0.03 μg/mL; boron, 0.05 μg/mL; and molybdenum, 0.007 μg/mL.
