Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for artificial afforestation design, afforestation methods, selection of afforestation tree species and afforestation density, planting site configuration, site preparation, afforestation seeds, seedlings and their treatment, afforestation fertilization, planting, non-forested area nurturing and protection, inspection and acceptance, and afforestation technical files, etc. This standard applies to artificial afforestation (including under-canopy afforestation) and tree planting on the four sides of roads in suitable afforestation areas across the country, excluding aerial seeding afforestation.
