Scope

This standard specifies the pre-installation preparations, installation quality requirements, installation procedures, installation inspections, and commissioning requirements for fixed full-azimuth rudder-propeller installations (hereinafter referred to as rudder-propeller installations). This standard applies to the installation and commissioning of fixed full-azimuth rudder-propeller installations with electric propulsion and gear transmission.
