Scope

This standard specifies the items, test conditions, test content and procedures for mooring and navigation trials of marine vessels, as well as general provisions for test records and reports.
This standard applies to the trials of new marine vessels for routine projects. For the trials of special devices and equipment beyond the scope of this standard, as well as those of offshore mobile platforms, reference may be made to this standard for implementation.
