Scope

This standard specifies the models, basic parameters, dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation, and quality assurance period of capacitor-operated asynchronous motors and shaded-pole asynchronous motors used in AC fans.
This standard applies to capacitor-operated asynchronous motors and shaded-pole asynchronous motors used in AC fans specified in GB/T 13380.
An AC fan motor (hereinafter referred to as a motor) refers to the part of the motor above the connection head, excluding the connecting rod, outer shell, net cover, and fan blades (wings).
When some performance is related to certain accessories, it is specified in the relevant provisions of this standard.
