Scope

This standard specifies the dimensions of the basic interface of sockets and plugs used for transmitting 12 V power from agricultural tractors to agricultural implements. This standard also specifies the environmental conditions for the use of Type 1 power transmission connectors. This standard does not apply to sockets specified in GB/T 5053.2 for trailer lighting devices. This standard does not apply to any other voltage systems (6 V or 24 V). Note: The diagrams provided are solely for illustrative purposes and definition descriptions, and are not intended to provide design requirements.
