Scope

GB/T 20438 covers all aspects that need to be considered when electrical/electronic/programmable electronic systems perform safety functions. One of the main purposes of GB/T 20438 is to promote technical committees in various application fields to develop national standards for those application fields. This will enable all factors related to the application to be fully considered, thus meeting the needs of the application fields. Another purpose of GB/T 20438 is to enable the development of electrical/electronic/programmable electronic systems in the absence of national standards for specific application fields.
