This standard specifies the address codes, protocol data unit formats, message sequences, and parameter definitions of the air interface call control layer of the dedicated digital trunking communication system based on 12.5 kHz channels and TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access).
This standard is applicable to dedicated digital trunking communication systems (hereinafter referred to as "trunking systems") based on 12.5 kHz channels and TDMA with a frequency range of 30 MHz to 1 GHz.
