Scope

This standard specifies the geometric accuracy inspection and corresponding tolerances of manual self-centering chucks for machine tools with more than two clamping jaws.
This standard applies to integral hard jaw chucks that can quickly clamp workpieces of different sizes.
This standard only stipulates the inspection of the rotational accuracy of the chucks used to align the center of the workpieces, and it is not applicable to other dynamic performance inspections, such as balance testing or clamping force testing.
