Scope

This section specifies the test methods (Method A and Method B) for determining the warp yarn curliness of impregnated canvas using a curliness tester or a tensile testing machine, as well as the test methods for determining the warp and weft densities of impregnated canvas using a fabric density microscope.
This section is applicable to the determination of the warp yarn curliness and warp and weft densities of impregnated canvas made from polyester fibers and nylon fibers as the warp materials.
