Scope

This document specifies the structure and materials, operating conditions, technical requirements, appearance and markings, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage, and transportation of motor control valves used in gas meters. This document is applicable to motor control valves used in gas meters with a maximum working pressure not exceeding 50 kPa and a maximum flow rate not exceeding 160 m3/h. Unless otherwise specified, the pressure mentioned in this document refers to the relative atmospheric pressure (gage pressure).
