Scope

This section stipulates the terms and definitions, basic requirements, fire safety management measures, and setting requirements for premises and fire-fighting facilities of elderly care institutions. It also covers fire inspections and rectification of fire hazards, fire safety publicity and education training, and the formulation and rehearsal of emergency evacuation plans. This section applies to elderly care institutions with more than 50 beds (hereinafter referred to as "units"). Other elderly care institutions may refer to this section for implementation.
