Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the materials, manufacturing, inspection, and acceptance of methanol synthesis reactors. This standard applies to fixed tube-plate fully welded methanol synthesis reactors, with a working pressure of no more than 10.0 MPa in the tube section and no more than 5.6 MPa in the shell section.
