Scope
This part of GB/T 28177 specifies the requirements for the magnetic stripe and encoding characteristics on flexible smart cards at two points in their life cycle:
——When they are loaded into card issuance devices;
——When they are issued to the public.
Guidelines for storing and using finished cards (including magnetic stripe cards) under various environmental conditions are provided in ISO/IEC 15457-1.
