GB/T 39494-2020 Determination for coating adhesion of rare earth permanent magnetic materials for drive motor of new energy vehicle
GB/T 39494-2020 Determination for coating adhesion of rare earth permanent magnetic materials for drive motor of new energy vehicle
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the determination method of the bonding strength of surface coatings on rare earth permanent magnet materials used in the drive motors of new energy vehicles. It includes four methods: the pull-off method, the shear method, the scratch method, and the thermal shock method, all of which are destructive testing methods.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the bonding strength of single-layer or multi-layer coatings on the surface of rare earth permanent magnet materials used in the drive motors of new energy vehicles. The coatings include those coated by electroplating, electrophoresis, spraying, physical vapor deposition, and chemical plating techniques (hereinafter referred to as coated products of rare earth permanent magnet materials).
Note: The pull-off method and the shear method are suitable for the determination of coated products with flat surfaces, while the scratch method and the thermal shock method are suitable for the determination of coated products of any size.
