Scope

This part of GB/T 39517 specifies the evaluation and reporting process for the performance of agricultural machinery equipped with a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)-based automatic guidance system (AGS) in automatic steering mode.
This part specifies the lateral deviation between the reference point on the agricultural machinery and its intended trajectory. It includes uncertainties related to the performance of all components of the navigation system, including positioning devices, automatic steering components, mechanical and dynamic mechanisms, etc.
This part is applicable to the steady-state tracking performance test of automatic guidance systems when driving in a straight line on a horizontal surface.
