Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for energy-saving products (including saving raw materials and comprehensive utilization of resources) in terms of terminology and definitions, classification, evaluation indicators and scoring methods, application conditions, review procedures, awards, and supervision.
This standard applies to the review of energy-saving products produced by enterprises and institutions registered with the industrial and commercial administration of Shanghai City. For energy-saving products produced by enterprises and institutions in other provinces and cities, if they wish to apply for review, they must be recommended by the local provincial (municipal) energy-saving management departments.
