This document specifies the basic requirements for the loading and securing of Series 1 containers, including loading and unloading procedures, specified lifting methods, grounding and support requirements, and securing requirements during storage and transportation. This document applies to full and empty Series 1 containers manufactured and inspected in accordance with ISO 1496 (all parts).
