Scope
This part of GB/T 18838 specifies the technical requirements for 12 grades of cold hard cast iron abrasive materials used in jet cleaning, including hardness, density, defects, metallographic structure, and chemical composition, etc.
The requirements specified in this part only apply to unused abrasive materials, not to used ones.
The test methods for metal abrasive materials used in jet cleaning are described in various parts of GB/T 19816.
Cold hard cast iron abrasive materials are recyclable and reusable abrasive materials, which can be used in both fixed and on-site jetting equipment.
