Scope

This standard provides the method for establishing the dose-effect curve of chromosomal aberrations in human peripheral blood lymphocytes induced by ionizing radiation and estimating the biological dose using this curve.
This standard is applicable to the dose estimation of individuals exposed to a relatively uniform whole-body external radiation accident.
This standard is also applicable to the dose estimation of cases of combined burns with relatively uniform whole-body external radiation.
This standard is not applicable to the biological dose estimation of fractionated radiation, long-term low-dose cumulative radiation, and internal radiation.
