Scope

This specification applies to the calibration of the dynamic response (heat response time) of contact temperature sensors with a time constant of not less than 1 ms at room temperature to 1,700 °C, with an airflow Mach number of less than 0.95, or a liquid flow rate of less than 1 m/s. Temperature sensors mainly include thermocouples and resistance temperature sensors.
