Scope
This document specifies the durability test conditions and test methods for rotary sprinklers used in agricultural irrigation. The sprinklers specified in this document are broadly defined sprinklers, covering all types of products defined by ISO 158861, and are suitable for all irrigation sprinklers with static and moving components during operation as defined by the manufacturer. For any given sprinkler, due to the diversity of nozzle structures, operating conditions, and adjustment methods, a large number of tests are required, at least in theory. Under the condition that the test accuracy meets the requirements, the inspection agencies and manufacturers can use interpolation techniques to reduce the number of actual tests.
